Sheds
If the shed you want does not come in a flat pack, we will build it. Bespoke timber sheds sized to the space you have and the job you need them for, whether that is a workshop, a bike and tool store, or somewhere dry to keep the garden gear. We prepare and level the base, build to last, and use sustainably sourced timber throughout.
Sheds built on site, not flat-packed
There is a real difference between a shed that is delivered in panels and screwed together on a Saturday, and one that is built for the spot it is going in. The first is a box. The second is a building, and it is still standing square and dry a decade later.
We build bespoke timber sheds, workshops and garden stores across Norwich and Norfolk, sized to the space rather than to whatever the nearest standard size happens to be. We also supply and install quality ready-made buildings where that is the more sensible spend, and we will tell you honestly which one your job is.
Bespoke and made to fit
Gardens have awkward corners, existing walls, and a fence line that is not quite square. A shed built on site can be made to fit that, with the door on the side that actually works, windows where you want the light, and a height that clears the boundary rules. You are not paying for space you cannot use.
Workshops and garden rooms
If it is going to be worked in rather than stored in, the specification changes. That means a heavier floor, somewhere for power to be run in by an electrician, insulation if it is going to be used through the winter, and enough glazing to work by daylight. Worth deciding at the quote stage, because retro-fitting it later is considerably more expensive.
Bases and ground work
A shed is only as good as what it is standing on. An out-of-level or undersized base is the single most common reason a shed door stops closing. We prepare the base as part of the job and set the building on bearers with airflow underneath, so the floor is not sitting in wet ground.
Removing the old one
Most shed jobs start with taking down whatever is there, which is often in poor condition and full of things nobody has looked at in years. We dismantle it, clear the site and take the lot away under our waste carrier licence, so you are not left with a pile of rotten timber and felt to deal with.
